28 November 2011

Congratulations to our athletes who competed at Berry Hill Park on Saturday November 26th.  A particular mention must go to the year 7 teams who both managed to win their respective team event, and with just one fixture of the league remaining, are in pole position to take the Year 7 County League Gold Medals.  The year 7 girls fielded an incredible 14 athletes with Lucy Forrest leading them home in 5th place. However, it was the boys who produced the outstanding team display on the day by getting the four A team athletes home inside the first six places.  Luis Kelk added a 2nd place to his 1st place from race one in September and with Ed Frost 4th, Charlie Hammond 5th and James Wakefield 6th making up the team,  they are in a strong position to take both Individual and Team Medals in the final race on December 10th.  Full results in the PE Folder on the website.  Well done to all involved!!
