On Thursday 19th April the year seven girls were crowned County Cup Champions after defeating George Spencer School 1-0. It was a tight affair for the first 15 minutes of the game with chances few and far between for both sides. Charlotte Lacey then popped up with a goal after making a darting run to the front post, converting Emma Brown’s cross. The second half again was very tight with George Spencer pushing players forward at every given opportunity. With them attacking we looked to hit them on the break and although chances were coming our way, we could not extend our lead. The effort and determination from each and every girl was tremendous and we are all proud of their achievements. Well done ladies!!
