Congratulations to our Cross Country athletes who completed on Saturday 20 November at Berry Hill Park. Once again a fantastic turnout of students made for some impressive team and individual performances. The year 7 boys A team, led home by Joseph Tuffin in 4th place, once again finished in 1st place, and not wanting to miss out, our year 7 girls A team also replicated the result from league race one and finished 1st with Ella Moore in 7th leading her team home. In the older age groups, Sarah Hemington won the year 10-11 girls race for the second time and the year 8-9 girls finished 2nd team in their age group, narrowly missing out on 1st place by just 4 points. Our results place us in a great position going into the final league race of the season on Saturday 11 December. We still have 7 of our teams in the hunt for team medals in the different age categories, so fingers crossed for another strong display. Well done to all athletes who took part and many thanks to parents who supported. The full results can be found in the PE folder on the school website.
